Belgium: 4G auction has been closed
BIPT (Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications) has closed the 4G auction.
The last 1st of June, BIPT launched an auction in the 2.6 GHz band and on 14th of October received 5 application to participate in the auction.
As a result, Belgacom SA, BUCD BVBA, KPN group Belgium SA and Mobistar SA, have acquired a 4G license in the 2.6 GHz band and be valid for a period of 15 years starting from 1 July 2012.
