The Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS) launched the last January 26, 2012 a public consultation on the future use of the 2.3 GHz band (2300-2400 MHz).
The purpose of this consultation is to get the overall interest in the band and define its use in a future. PTS will review the comments as soon as the deadline for responses has expired and will make a decision on whether to limit the number of licences in the band and issue an open invitation to apply.
Comments can be submitted until next February 9, 2012.

The Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS) has announced that auction to assign 2×35 MHz in the 1800 MHz band will take place starting on 11 October.
