Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority (NPT) has issued a new regulation which replaces Regulation Nº 580 of 2 June 2009.
The regulations provide general permits and actual rates for the use of the frequencies without applying for special permission from NPT.
Technical specification and standards that are followed are described through 14 sections. We can find the following ones among them:
- Non-specific short range devices
- Tracking, tracing and data acquisition
- Wideband data transmission systems
- Railway applications
- Road transport and traffic telematics
- Radiodetermination applications
- Alarms
- Model control
- Inductive applications
- Radio microphone applications including aids for the hearing impaired
- Radio frequency identification applications
- Active medical implants and their associated peripherals
- Wireless audio applications
The Regulation is in force since the last 19 of January and can be consulted in Norwegian language in the following link at NPT’s website.
On 14 October 2011, ANATEL (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicaçôes) published a new list of technical requirements for Category II products in order to add the requirements approved by Resolution No. 572 of September 28, 2011. This Resolution compiles the Standard for Certification and Approval of antennas of earth stations operating with geostationary satellites and provides general technical requirements for certification and approval of this kind of equipments.
